Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy (IGP)
The Master of Music Instrumental and Vocal Pedagogy degree programme is aimed at students who have completed an artistic or artistic-pedagogical Bachelor's degree programme with a professional qualification in instrumental and vocal pedagogy.
There is plenty of freedom in the degree programme to realise your own artistic/pedagogical projects with competent supervision. Students develop pedagogical-practical or pedagogical-scientific projects.
The further development of the didactics of instrumental and vocal pedagogy, the didactics for passing on knowledge in the further education sector or at university level, as well as the development of competences that can qualify for doctoral studies, are the focus of the study programme.
The artistic-practical specialisation is possible in all instrumental and vocal main subjects offered at the MHL (including popular music).
The students learn to work out artistic and didactic questions independently, to question them critically and to develop them further. Artistic and pedagogical competences are combined and new artistic/pedagogical ways of acting are developed from this.
A detailed presentation of the study plan will be available here soon.
