In the winter semester 2024/25, the MHL will introduce a new lateral entry Master's degree programme for the double subject of music at primary school. It is aimed at applicants who are seeking a teaching qualification for primary schools after completing an artistic or artistic-pedagogical Bachelor's degree. Courses from the fields of music education and didactics, educational science, a specialised practical course geared towards school practice as well as the Master's internship and insights into the didactics of German and mathematics prepare graduates for the preparatory service and their later varied professional activities as primary school teachers.
