QUALIFICATION GOALS "INCLUSION" FOR THE MUSIC EDUCATION DEGREE PROGRAMMES

Based on the "Index for Inclusion" (2003), the following qualification goals were formulated:

Create inclusive structures

  • The students have the necessary sensitivity to recognise individual needs for support.
  • The students can deal with heterogeneous groups with diverse living and learning conditions as well as life plans in an appreciative and productive manner.

Establish inclusive structures

  • The students recognise the individual support needs in the developmental areas of sensory and motor skills, emotionality and sociability, language and thinking (cognition).
  • Within the framework of music pedagogical activities, the students enable equal, fair, self-determined and thus successful participation of all participants.

Developing inclusive practices

  • The students can compensate for disadvantages by differentiating and adapting the musical learning content and methods within the framework of joint artistic activities.
