Musical talent needs early, professional promotion! For MHL, youth development is taken very seriously, and is one of its most important goals. With the affiliated "ISMA" (Institute of School-Accompanying Music Education), MHL promotes musical top talent.
In addition to ISMA, MHL also offers courses for young talents: In introductory courses and workshops of the "Young Brass Academy", for example, gifted students have the opportunity to have a closer look at studying music. They can have a go, learn how to assess themselves and get professional feedback on what they have achieved.
With "MUSIS" (Music in Schools), MHL has realized an innovative university didactic concept that links the education of students with their later school teaching practice far more than before. In over 15 partner schools, students are actively involved in the scholastic musical tasks.
