In order to prepare for the qualifying examination in the degree programme "Music Education" Bachelor of Arts, students and lecturers of the MHL offer two voluntary and free preparatory measures:
- Online preparation courses (starting November 2024: applied piano playing, music theory and ear training).
During the lecture periods (winter and summer semester), an online preparation course format is offered in the following subjects, which can be attended either as a complete package or individually.
Applied Piano Playing (Thursdays: 4-5 pm)
Ear training (Fridays: 7-8 pm)
Music theory (Saturdays: 9-10 am)
Presence day on 7 December 2024
You can register informally by e-mail, stating your name, age, telephone number and choice of subjects.
- Compact Weekend (9th to 11th of May 2024 at the MHL)
MHL offers a compact weekend, which is also free of charge. During this weekend, all students interested in the study programmes "Music Education" have the opportunity to get to know the students, lecturers and premises of the MHL as well as to receive input in the context of workshops on the parts of the examination that take place in presence (applied piano playing, speaking, interview test/colloquium, group test, music theory, aural training and music history).
All participants can be accommodated with students. Registration for the compact weekend will be possible soon.
