What is behind the profile?
Instrumental and vocal pedagogy (IGP) primarily aims to encourage people to make music. Topics such as playing technique, practising, motivation, teaching literature or creative fields of action such as improvisation or composition come together in a successful lesson in such a way that students are accompanied on their path to making music. On the one hand, the study programme prepares students for individual lessons from the basic level to working with advanced students; on the other hand, the promotion of music in the form of musicalisation projects, class music-making and project work is an integral part of the professional field. The courses in the profile prepare students for the various challenges of professional life and are supplemented by internships and specialist days on specific topics.
What is special about the profile?
The profile combines artistic aspects with a pedagogical qualification.
