Each Year the Norddeutsche Blechwerk e.V. and the MHL invite to the Great Brass Players' Day Schleswig-Holstein at the beginning of November at the MHL. As part of the Young Brass Academy of the MHL, the Brass Day offers musicians from amateur to professional level an attractive platform for networking. Its highlights include concerts and workshops with renowned lecturers. The large number of opportunities for participation, discussion rounds, concerts and instrument exhibitions make the Great Brass Players' Day an outstanding event for brass players of all kinds beyond the region.
The Norddeutsche Blechwerk e.V. and the Young Brass Academy of the MHL cooperate in year-round events. The focus is on workshops for pupils and students as well as further training for orchestra musicians and instrumental teachers.
The Great Brass Day Schleswig-Holstein 2024 unfortunately has to be canceled.
